Fully Off Grid Tiny Home on Wheels!

Fully off-grid tiny house on wheels! This home is receiving the final finishings and touchup, and can be ready for delivery immediately! Note that all appliances and soft-goods shown are included!

The home features a robust off-grid setup comprised of:

-12kW lithium-ion battery bank (250 amp-hours at nominal 48 volts)
-2kW solar panel array on the roof (6 x 330-watt Panasonic panels)
-5kW 48V inverter/charger - with generator input for auxiliary charging
-100 gallons fresh water storage
-50 gallons grey water storage
-CUSTOM recirculating/filtration water system
-All water tanks housed within the building envelope to combat freezing concerns during winter
-Mini-Split air conditioning unit with heat pump for electric heating
-Propane fireplace (Dickenson Marine) for efficient winter-time heating
-Remote monitoring configured through Victron for electric stats and tank levels and smart thermostat for temperature
-Includes propane-powered generator for auxiliary charging

The home was professionally spray foamed within the 2x4 framed exterior walls and 2x8 ceiling rafters, and features an additional 1/2" of exterior insulation.  The floor is built up on additional 2x6 floor joists placed atop the trailer framing, and has a total of 9 inches of rigid insulation along with electric heated floors for efficient radiant heating.

The tiny home features a 3-foot wide porch/entryway on the back side of the trailer.  The front door opens into the "living room" featuring a couch with deep storage, build in shelves and bookcases, and a 42" wall-mounted smart TV.  A custom fold-out table is included in the front of the bookshelf beneath the TV and provides an office space or dining table.  Large picture windows frame the corner of the house at the couch, and create cozy environment to read or enjoy your favorite TV show or movie!

The kitchen features a propane oven/range, 12-volt full-size refrigerator, and large stainless steel sink.  The 100 gallon fresh water tank resides in the cabinet beneath the sink.  Controls for the heated floors, the mini-split, water system, and Victron electrical monitors are located on the wall beside the sink and bathroom door.

The bathroom houses a Nature's Head composting toilet, 36" square shower, vanity cabinet and sink, and propane powered water heater.  The floor of the bathroom is elevated to house the grey water tanks, and plumbing infrastructure below removable floor sections.  Floor sections need not be removed to monitor tank levels or drain the tanks; however, they must be removed to change the UV sterilizing filter (approx every 3-6 months).

Above the bathroom is the bedroom loft, which is accessed via a custom two-piece maple ladder with spring assisted raising and lowering.  A spring and cable system is built into the railing at the edge of the loft to hold most of the weight of the ladder while raising and lowering, and allows for operations in both directions from either above (while sitting in the loft) or below (while standing in the kitchen).  The loft comfortably fits a full sized bed, and would accommodate a queen, though with tighter access to the bedside storage areas on either side.  8" mattress shown in photographs and is included with the home unless otherwise desired by the buyers.

Across from the bedroom loft is a large storage loft.  This can also be used as a secondary sleeping location for guests, and is accessed via a telescoping ladder which is typically stored in the living room couch.

There are many features in this tiny home, and the off-grid capabilities open up a world of opportunities by eliminating the need to plug in to electrical or water services.  That said, hookups are provided (30-amp electrical, water inlet with bypass for tank system while still running through filters and UV sterilization) to allow for such connections if desired.  A cell-booster and antenna is also included.
