Nomad Adjacent launched in February 2024, right here in Denver, Colorado, with a simple mission: to become the Zillow for tiny homes and unique living spaces. We saw a gap in the market—a need for a high-quality platform to connect sellers and builders of tiny homes (and other unconventional dwellings) with buyers who share a passion for alternative living.
Our platform isn’t just about listings—it’s about creating a community and providing resources for anyone exploring the world of tiny houses and non-traditional living. Whether you’re a seller looking for serious buyers or a builder showcasing your work, Nomad Adjacent offers the tools to make those connections happen effortlessly.
Before we came along, navigating the market for these types of homes often meant dealing with fragmented, outdated platforms like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. We’re changing the game by bringing the same best-in-class features you’d expect from platforms like Zillow or Realtor.com, but tailored specifically to the tiny home movement. With robust search filters, clean design, and tools built for this unique market, we’re making it easier than ever for buyers and sellers to find each other.

Work starts on a marketplace built specifically for alternative dwellings, rather than a general classifieds site with a tiny home category bolted on.
February 2024
Nomad Adjacent launches
Nomad Adjacent LLC is founded in Denver, Colorado by Keith Gulbro, and the marketplace opens to sellers and buyers across the United States.
2024
Verified leads replace cold inquiries
Email and SMS verification is introduced so sellers only receive inquiries from buyers who have confirmed they are reachable. Sellers get their first three verified leads free, with no commission on any sale.
2025
Builder and community directories
The platform expands beyond listings into vetted directories of builders and tiny home communities, so buyers can find who builds these homes and where they are allowed to put them.
2026
Evidence-based directory verification
Directory records are re-verified against each business's own live site, with photography checked by eye and re-validated at publish time. Roughly four out of five candidate records are rejected as closed, defunct, or off-topic rather than published.
How we operate
- No commission, ever
- We never take a percentage of a sale. Sellers pay only for verified buyer leads, after the first three are free.
- Buyers are verified, not harvested
- Every inquiry confirms an email or phone number before it reaches a seller. Sellers are never billed for an inquiry that failed verification.
- Placement is not for sale
- No builder or community can pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to have a negative detail removed.
- We disclose how content is made
