393 Sq Ft RVIA-Certified Tiny Home With Downstairs Bedroom + 2 Lofts (Barbara)

This is a 2019 Mt. Bachelor Extended by Tiny Mountain Houses, purchased new in October 2022. The extended model adds 2 feet to the standard layout, and that extra room makes a difference! There’s approximately 393 sq ft, including the two lofts, plus a separate room downstairs.

That downstairs room is one of the best parts of the layout. You can use it as your bedroom if climbing into a loft every night isn’t for you, or make it an office, guest room, or extra living space. Upstairs, the larger loft fits a king-size bed, and the second fits a full. So you have up to three separate sleeping areas, depending on what works for you!

The kitchen has Corian countertops, a white apron-front sink, soft-close shaker cabinets, and a 7-foot walnut butcher-block breakfast bar. There’s a 3-burner propane cooktop, built-in microwave, and a 9 cu ft stainless steel refrigerator with a top freezer. A pull-out spice rack and storage staircase help make good use of the space, too.

And yes, there’s a full-size bathtub! The bathroom has a 60-inch tub/shower and a regular residential flushing toilet. There’s also a space prepped for a single-unit washer/dryer.

White beadboard walls, pine beams, walnut-stained ceiling accents, and subway tile give it that cozy feeling that makes you want to settle in.
