Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Jacob and Charla Lloyd, Simple Tiny Homes Co is a family-owned tiny home builder based in Cañon City, Colorado. The Lloyds bring 25+ years of combined construction and remodeling experience and have lived full-time in three different tiny homes themselves — first-hand experience that shapes their focus on simple, affordable, livable builds. The company offers three signature models — The Homestead, The Bunkhouse, and The Jack N Jill — ranging from 18 to 32 feet, available in both standard and off-grid configurations. Off-grid packages include solar panels, an Apollo 5kW battery and inverter, a wood-burning stove, and a composting toilet. Each home is custom-built to order, with buyers selecting exterior colors, interior wall materials (beetle-kill blue pine or white shiplap), and flooring. In its first year of business, Simple Tiny Homes Co produced more than 40 tiny homes, delivering nationwide from their Colorado workshop. Every build comes with a one-year warranty covering doors, windows, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus extended manufacturer warranties on appliances. Consultations are by appointment only.
